Selling at Auction
One story country home with 14 acres auction
Saturday October 24, 2026 at 10:00am
Selling from the estate of Janet Dawson Estate, Huron County Probate Case #ES2026 00038. Judith E. Walls, Executor. Jeff Ream attorney. Located in New Haven Township and Willard Local School District.
2 parcel numbers being #240020020120000 with the house and barns on 13.912 acres and #240020020130000 bare land with .57 of an acre for a total of 14.482 total acres. You may walk the property at your leisure during normal daylight times.
One story home built in 1975 having 3 bedrooms, one bathroom and having 1,752 sq ft living area according to the auditor. It has a full basement under the house and an attached 3 car garage being 28’ x 64’. Propane forced air heating system and central air-conditioning. There is a 24’ x 56’ pole barn located behind the house.
The land is open/bare land in the front part of the property with the backside of the property being woodland with a small river running through it. This land would be good for hunting or making a pasture out of it.
I walked the land and I think it very nice, just a little overgrown. The crick is a rock bottom crick giving you a solid crossing to get to the south side of the crick. From the crick south is rises quickly in elevation making everything on the south side is high and dry and really wouldn’t take much effort to clear and get something nice growing on it. There is about a half acre north of the crick and on the east side of the property that does have cattails indicating it being wet. I highly advise you to take the time and walk the entire property. I think you will like it like I did.
